This piece is kind of my way of writing a nice, calm melody. It came across to me one day on the balcony, so I jotted it down. After a few months of figuring out the perfect harmony, along with the suggestions of my theory instructor, Wayne Irschick, I finished it.

It does sound a bit hymny when played slowly, but if played twice the speed, it sounds rather…Westerny…
