Another lively piece for two dances, from the musical 'Suspicious Grief'. Two dancers -male and female- vie with each other for the attention of the crowd. In the first dance, the male dancer gets to strut his stuff and entices the crowd to join him in 3/4 Irish rhythmic time dance, which requires the feet to tap out the rhythm.
The female stands aloof and then takes her turn to lead the crowd into another rhythm 4/4 'light on the toes' reel dance time.
The male dancer interrupts with his rhythm again. They circle each other and finally come together for the last few steps. Listen to the MP3.
