"The Extravagant Love of the Lord" was the first place winner of the 2004 Music & Creative Worship Xtravaganza Songwriting Contest sponsored by the Music & Creative Worship Group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. It was based on the theme verse, Psalm 145:7 (paraphrased) "We will celebrate Your extravagant goodness and sing of Your righteousness." It is an uplifting text and tune and I think your choir will enjoy singing it. You can also get a copy of the chorus version on this site.
