This piece was composed for my daughter, Haley. Yes it contains Mozart's Twinkle Twinkle, but most of it is my own work. It is a collection of lullabyes, and the end little dissonance signifies her falling asleep (al beit, reluctantly). At the premiere of this piece, as an appendage to it, I brought my daughter out on stage and played some of the thematic material with my right hand, and let her beat the keys in alternation, and eventually at the same time.
