In this arrangement I have endeavoured to capture in string parts the 'gopak' rhythm of Tchaikowsky's piano piece (opus 10 No.2) while preserving his wit and light touch. A light bowing is intended throughout.Set your audience dancing! Since publication I have now re-edited the arrangement because of an error in second violin bars 2,4,6,8 ( and their reiteration later in the piece)in which impossible-to-play double stopping was written. The offending two note chords should have been shared with the viola part as is now the case.
