The arrangement of the famous Russian folk-song was created for the 70th birthday celebration of the eminent film-director Barrie Gavin and premiered on this occasion on the 4th of June 2005 in Town Hall in Prestigne, Wales with parcitipation of Linda Hirst (soprano), David Powell (oboe), Allan Hacker (bassethorn), and Alissa Firsova (untuned piano).
