Symphony of Enterprise tells the story of St. John’s, the former home of Granada Television and ITV in Manchester, England, as it undergoes a transformation into a new neighbourhood of enterprise, culture and living.
The Village: a series of small, quirky buildings sit amongst pockets of green space. A café spills out onto one of the public squares; a busker stands on the street corner entertaining passers-by. There’s a hustle and bustle of daily life; multi-purpose buildings where people can live, work and relax together, where there’s always something new to be discovered around the corner.
Symphony of Enterprise was written for and is dedicated to the musicians of the St. John’s Collective, a new musical initiative which brought players of all ages and abilities together from across Greater Manchester and inspired them to be creative with classical music.
