I couldn’t use the title Drum Roll because that would have been plagiarism :>) so I have entitled the symphony "The Swiss Roll" and named each of the four movements after something Swiss. The first movement "Vierwaldstättersee" otherwise known as Lake Lucerne. The lake has a complicated shape, with bends and arms reaching from the city of Lucerne into the mountains.
