Sunbeams Through A Frosted Window Like some of the others, Sunbeams Through A Frosted Window was not composed in Montana, it was written in the spring of 2000 in Omaha. The title itself gives away the sketch being portrayed. Two scenarios can be assumed: a cold setting with a chill that is suddenly broken with the presences of the sun, and the second, warm and comfortable. As portrayed, the latter was my goal. While writing, this sketch was only felt in my head as I imagined what this mood would feel like; it was quite warm when I wrote this. Actually, it was in December when I had associated the music to the title. I sat in a chair in a warm house and saw sunbeams strike through frosted windows. Immediately, I was hearing this sketch.
