As you may have noticed, there are also versions of "Summer Rain" for guitar and flute or violin or cello as well as a trio version for flute, violin and guitar. I enjoy re-working pieces for different ensembles and it was very satisfying to finally realize the composition for guitar quartet; it had been bouncing around in my head for some time!
