This piece was written during my private composition lessons at Berklee College of Music in the Fall of 2010. It was read by a student quartet at the school as well. The first movement is a sonata form movement playing with accents in 4/4. The second movement is more lyrical, and the last movement is supposed to be like an eastern European dance in 7/8.
