This Quartet was composed in Vienna in 1773. It was the third journey into Vienna for Mozart. Six Quartets, KV168, KV169, KV170, KV171, KV172, KV173, are called as Vienna-Quartets. They differ from Milan-Quartets. He should have been affected by Viennese composers including Joseph Haydn. It consists of the following four movements. The second movement is a canon, and the fourth movement is a fugue. I. Allegro II. Andante III. Menuetto IV. Allegro
