For the contemporary String Quartet to soar into the world of ’neo-classical rock’ - yes, 'there is such a term!' Enjoying all its different colours and emotional swings, the last movement eventually metamorphoses into a yesteryear popular idiom; which in my humble opinion could be classified as being amongst one of the origins of 20th century popular dance, yet without a jazz-swing style being called for.
