This is a choral piece that I composed on one of my own poems. I write a lot of poetry in my spare time, and every now and then I like to set them to music. This poem is a little unusual, as is the music i wrote for it. Filled with close harmonies and random jumps out of the key signature, it is an exciting, and in some places, chilling piece.

And the strange was forward,
and almost out of sight,
and when I called it back to me,
it showered painted gold.
and the strange was outwards willing,
and always in the trees,
and when I told it of my plight,
it soothed a million me’s.
And the strange traversed the lines,
and went a forward true,
and as it waved adieu to me,
I knew that it was good.
And the strange returned to me,
and stroked upon my ghost,
and with the strange is all the time
that I enjoy the most.
