Stillleben mit Gitarre was written for my friend Wolfgang Seierl [http://www.seierl.com/], a vihuelist and guitarist, composer and painter.
If you play the piece on guitar, you have to tune the 3rd string down to F#.
When performed on a vihuela, it will sound a third or a fourth higher than notated.
Triangular shaped notes indicate the approximate pitch of a string, vibrating between nut and fret, either plucked with the 1st finger of the left hand (labeled "L" in tab) or tapped and pulled off with a finger of the right hand (labeled "R" in tab).
