It is destined to be played as an 'encore' piece and thus should not be taken too seriously. The piece should be fun both to play and to listen to. During the opening bars the cello part requires both arco and pizzicato to be used simultaneously. With a little care and practice this can easily be achieved. [Note: The piano accompaniment works very well when played by the acoustic guitar (a rearrangement is of course required)].
