This arrangement is also playable as a string quartet (vln 1&2, vla, vc) Manuel de Falla (1876–1946) was a Spanish Andalusian composer of classical music. With Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados he is one of Spain's most important musicians of the first half of the 20th century. This arrangement is based both on de Fallas own orchesta score and Kreislers violin/piano arrangement. Some aspecte of the solo violin part from the Kreisler arr. have been kept for the splendid colour and virtuosity.
