Here's a piece that, if one resists the temptation to play it too fast, should be a very enjoyable experience for a string orchestra of even moderate ability. The syncopations are complex, but the melody flowing. Granados wrote this for piano, but its melodies lend themselves very well to a string ensemble of at least nine players. (Because of the divisis, you will need at least two players on each part except for the bass.)
