This is an arrangement I made from the original for viola da gamba and harpsichord, for violin, viola and violoncello, giving the viola the role of the viola da gamba and dividing the harpsichord between violin and cello. Now all three voices have the same character, and the counterpointistic interplay is more noticeable. Pardon me, how can one dare to improve such a great master like Johann Sebastian Bach?
