This sonata is developped around an unusual tuning B E G# D G A# E. This kind of drop is an oppotunity to explore and discover new paths and resonnances of the instrument, while escaping from the security of our knowledge and automatisms. The approach turns very intuitive, opening to a dimension where the instrument gets a renewal full of surprises.
Catharsis
An invitation to explore the enignatic resonnances of this tuning. While naturally very mysterious, the music is still bringing out a variety of sound material, feelings and perspectives of listening, letting this catharsis become a hope, a rage, a freedom, a cage or just something unprecised.
