This arrangement of one of Beethoven's early piano sonatas makes an attractive piece for wind quartet. This movement, the third and last, begins with a rhythmically elusive figure which is fun to play. The tempo can relax a bit during the more lyrical parts of this movement (it should always feel like more a waltz than a scherzo), but the rhythmic energy must always be there.
