You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. This is my setting of the Skye Boat Song for choir. The chorus is sung in close harmony with differing treatments for each of the verses, which sometime portray the winds howling, a rocking lullaby, a lament to the loss at Culloden, a Jacobite outcry but ending with the gentle sway of the chorus quietly ebbing away.
Part of the quartet of a British Folk Song suite (Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England - W.I.S.E.)
The whole suite can be accompanied by a harp.
