I don’t know about you, but I am tired of the violinists getting all of the glory. Here is a piece that is challenging and enjoyable for the low strings. Have fun! I would like to suggest this seating arrangement: The violas in front of conductor, the celli behind violas, and basses behind celli. The 1st violins to the conductor’s left, and the 2nd violins to his/her right.
