This is the middle movement of the new wind band piece. Drew was a close friend of mine growing up, and inevitably we drifted, he towards sports and I toward music. But we also found time to catch up around the holidays. We talked of getting together and jamming on guitar. Unfortunately, he died in a car crash at 17 in 1996. The theme is a remembrance of our days of friendship, the carefree attitude of of youth.
