This piece is one of six sonatas Op.51 written for flute and Violin. 　This combination is very unique and it is remarkable that Violin part contains a lot of double-stops. As a result, playing the Violin part is not so easy. This Sonata No.5 consists of four movements, 1. Larghetto, 2. Presto, 3. Sarabanda, 4. Allegro. It is filled with rustic atmosphere and swings of the conversation.
