You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.I began to write 'Sing to the Lord' in April 2001 after returning from a choir visit to Barcelona where 'Barnet Choral Society' sang to some really responsive audiences. 'Sing to the Lord' is a setting of Psalm 98 and contains a first subject based upon the mixolydian mode. The original orchestration was intended to be much smaller with the alto saxophone playing an important role. However, it was found that more and more instruments were needed until the ensemble turned into an orchestra.
