So many folk ask me for the Entry of the Queen of Sheba to be played as a Wedding March to accompany the bride on her walk down the aisle to the altar. To play the whole piece leaves her standing for a long time beside her groom twiddling her thumbs. In this shortened version she would just have time to get down there with little time to wait around. The piece can be played on piano and simplified further by using single notes rather than octaves in the bass and this would be the way to play it on a church organ.I wish all wedding couples much happiness.
