The elven capital of Silvermoon has fallen, its inhabitants slaughtered and scattered. However, resistance forces of the survivors rise up and move swiftly through the protection of the forests of their native land, as they set out to hunt the unholy beasts who would dare lay claim to this land. Elven resistance forces strike back with bow, sword and spell, and clash with the invading forces in glorious battle, under the watchful moon and stars. Victories are not to be savoured, as the enemy is great in number, so the rangers must fight a guerilla war, striking from the trees, slaying as many as possible, before retreating to the safety of base camps deeper within the forests, in preparation for sallying forth and striking again at the invaders as often, and as bloodily as possible.
