This piece is for 4 percussionists with an optional Harp part that can be played on piano. Shores is a very calming piece that is sure to soothe your audience. Starting in a very mellow manner shores utilizes the unique sound of the ocean drum to achieve a very subdue effect. The B section is more rhythmically involved and ends with a short canon that leads back into the A theme.
