A chorale followed by a short piece of counterpoint for unaccompanied SSAATB choir. The first altos must reach an E an octave and a third above middle E, and so have been designated as Mezzo-sopranos. Words: "Send the angels now while the sun still sets and rises. Send the angels now while the light still counters dark. While love sill germindates the brow, while songs still rise above the row, while innocence can still be found, send the angels now!"
