From early days on Sergey Beltiukov compositions appealed to different genres of violin music. At that
time he composed «Tambourine» and «Rose of the Wind» for violin and piano. The works are characterised by
bright originality, filled with new, sometimes very complex techniques of textural presentation for the violin
pieces. Melodic riches, competence, reliance on classical traditions and skillful use of new means of expression
contributed to the wide popularity of these particular works of the composer. They are included in the curriculum
for Belarusian music studies in higher educational institutions of Belarus, as well as firmly entrenched in the
concert repertoire of famous musicians both in the Republic of Belarus and abroad: in The Netherlands, England,
Germany, Russia and other countries.
Each of the pieces: «Tambourine» and «Rose of the Wind», included in this compilation, is typified by its
bright character and melodic freshness. The publication is intended for students of music schools and
conservatories, as well as for concert performers.
