This work is a commission of Youth and Music Brussels and especially written for young musicians. The instrumental level is easy to moderate.
I've used a few themes from Franz Schubert:the first theme from the first mouvement from the 5th symphony(bar n.13),the theme from the slow mouvement from the same symphony (bar n. 96) and a quotation from the first mouvement (bar n. 124). At the end I've made 3 variations with the theme from "The Trout"-"Die Forelle" performed by the soprano. In the final variation the theme of "The Trout" and the first theme from the 5 symphony are used simultaneously.
The style is tonal with pop- and movie influences.
