An arrangement for wind quintet of Satie’s most popular pieces of music.
No.1 is the best known.
My arrangement differs from a lot of arrangements, in that the melody is given to every player, the bass line moves between bassoon, horn and clarinet, and the five members of the quintet do not play together all of the time.
This, I feel gives a bit of variation, and interest to the players!!
