This is a technically demanding atonal piece that requires both a good technique (especially for the 1st and 2nd trumpets) and a good ear for the improvised section. The form is slightly different than a "traditional" big-band number in that the middle section is also developed at the end.
It may not sound particularly good on all sound-cards (almost too much for the PCI128), but hopefully experienced listeners will be able to use their imagination!
