ROYAL WINTER PARADE is an orginal composition by KATHERINE SZAMKO-BOWES, inspired by her daughter’s vivid imagination and love of all things ’royal’. The prince’s theme is introduced in the first five measures of the song. Five princes compete during the Winter Parade, each entering the arena to the familiar prince’s theme. The princes take turns displaying their talents of dancing, juggling, acrobatics, swordplay and horsemanship… all to impress the king, entertain the kingdom and win the hand of the fair princess. Appropriate for church or general performance, recital or private lesson study. Piano accompaniment tracks for performance and rehearsal available. To commission an original work or arrangement, please contact the composer.
