Hope the Lord is revealing a life-changer to you this Lent. If He's not, 'tis the season to fast… It's never failed, when (however seldom it may be) that I do fast, something special always happens in the Spirit. One thing's for sure, it's worth the pangs.

I hope the rhythms of this one aren't too daunting. I thank Fr. Leo Patalinghug from St. John's, Westminster, for exhorting me to keep these as simple as possible. Other forthcoming psalms were specifically written with his suggestions in mind. Actually, come to think of it, the one that the verses were written chant-style from a few weeks ago probably had it's origin from a seminar Fr. Leo once gave on Meinrad psalm tones.
