You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. This one has an optional instrumental tag which could be played by flute or guitar if desired. The tag came from the original genesis of the response, which was actually making a scripture-memory song out of "If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts." On that version, I actually added the chapter and verse to the scripture: "Psalm ninety-five, sev'n and eight." If you change that first 'D' in the tag to a quarter note, you can hear it.
Listening for God's voice is a recurrent theme in our music ministry. Here's a verse from a song I wrote based on the scripture from 1 Samuel 3, "Speak Lord, For Your Servant Is Listening":
Listen up people got a story to tell… It's about a godly boy, his name was Samuel You know he was fresh, yeah he was just a youth He heard the voice of God and then he spoke the truth
and one day he'd say
Speak Lord, for your servant is listening I'm your servant, speak to me Speak Lord, for your servant is listening I'm your servant, speak to me
God bless. I'll share the other verses in future program notes.
