Hope you had a great Christmas, family-wise and ministry-wise. This was actually the simplest ministry-wise for me this year. We didn't have time to work up any special choral piece, so we just stuck with the classics, and everyone seemed to love it. Here was our songlist for Christmas morning:
Entrance: O Come All Ye Faithful Offertory: What Child Is This? Communion: O Holy Night Meditation: Silent Night Recessional: Joy To The World
I probably should have put in one Eucharistic hymn, like "I Am The Bread of Life" since it is for Mass; I probably will next year, at least as a prelude or postlude. But otherwise, I might be through stressing out working up Handel's Messiah anymore.
