The Sanctus was the first movement I wrote for the Requiem, back in 2004. Initially it was scored for Soprano and Bass/Baritone soloists, Choir and Organ. In 2008, as part of my ongoing Requiem project, I re-scored it for the full orchestra I'm using for the Requiem, as well as some reworking of the choral parts.
