The fourth movement in the composer’s Requiem is a setting for baritone of John Wilmot’s "A Fragment of Seneca Translated": it follows from the, third movement, Lux Aeterna and leads directly into the Dies Irae. This score reproduces the composer’s particell from which it had been intended that the full score will eventually be prepared although it is now extremely unlikely that the work will be finished.
