You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. This is my setting of the medieval Christmas carol "Gaudete", translated in English - "Rejoice". I took the translation from "Shorter New Oxford Book of Carols". The piece is meant to be performed either during the mass services or at the concerts. It is scored for SATB chorus, solo bariton (optional) and organ accompaniment. It has a responsorial form for following the original text conception. After each two verses, sung by baritone solo (or male choir), the chorus, sung by full choir, should be repeated. After last chorus repetition, it should be passed to coda. The organ part doesn’t have the independant pedal stave, so it could be played without pedal or even on piano/keyboard. The mp3 demonstrates an alternative arrangement possibility.
