Recorder quartet of Moderate-Advanced difficulty. Written in three movements, the first combines two themes in a jaunty folky dialogue. The second movement is a slow and meditative nocturne with a wintery, pastorale feel, while the third is an upbeat juba dance or ragtime jam that is sure to please players and audiences with toe-tapping grooves.
Composed for the October Recorder Festival 2023 at Culford School, nr Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England
A treble clef version of the Great Bass in C is also provided along with a version in bass clef.
