We were living in Sitka, Alaska years ago when a young girl in our LDS branch became very ill with a blood disease and eventually passed away. One of the sisters in our branch who was especially close to Sadie�s parents (Bob and Linda Clontz) wrote some poetry incorporating several special memories of Sadie, and she asked me to set the words to music. I think the song that resulted probably would fit memories of many little girls and would be lovely sung at a funeral, as it was for Sadie�s. My husband Thayne and son Kyle were home teachers to the Clontzes during this time and came to feel especially close to their family. We have lost contact with Bob and Linda over these many years, but I would like them to know what a privilege it was for me to do my part in writing a tribute to their beautiful little Sadie.
