This is the last movement of my ragtime concerto, the first movement of which was my thesis for my M.Mus in composition. However, this movement was only composed in July 2018, and I had no idea how it was going to work until then – meaning this is again all-new material. Ultimately, I decided on a sort of polka-like dance feel.
In addition, the middle E Major section uses material by my mentor Daniel Bukvich, which is the only intended aspect of the piece dating from earlier, as a dedication to him.
