This piece was originally concieved as an exercise for a seminar called "Avantgarde & Popular Music" by Prof. B. Kinzler. The inspiration comes from Igor Strawinsky's "Ragtime" for piano and the "Ragtime" from "History of the Soldier". It's fun (but very hard) to play and (hopefully) fun to listen to.
