Written in four short movements this piece follows a fairly traditional format. I like to think of it as a happy piece with more than a passing reference to Henry Purcell and the minimalists. It was written in a two week period in Italy sitting in the shade of a tree over looking a valley to the mountains beyond. The score published here is at pitch.
