'Putney Park' is an arrangement for brass quintet of an early piece published on Score Exchange under the title 'Obstinato' for clarinet and piano.
The change in name and the arrangement were occasioned by a request for some music to accompany a local Street Party here in Putney on 14th August 2011. The arrangement is dedicated to the Riverside 5 who have bravely agreed to present the piece for the first time to my own neighbours. Special thanks are due to Andy Bungay who suggested an arrangement might be worth tackling and for his encouragement when presented with the results….
