Less often played by guitarists (and indeed cellists) which is a pity. The movement (indeed the whole suite) is unusual for its low tessitura: this arrangement respects the relationship of the work's original key (Eb) to the lowest open string of the cello. Some suggested fingerings are provided, the occasional cross-fingerings help continuity and resonance.
