This is a long term Mozartian project of mine which I began in 1999 and many details have been revised at the cost of making further progress. For a long time I only had bars 1-34 completed, and kept making revisions to chords and textures in the existing material. Originally I had trumpets as well as horns, but reasoned that I could do without them as they would have to be "in D" and I wanted a lighter texture. Any comments or advice would be welcome - as with other pieces, progress is slow!
