You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.The Phantom Piper of Culzean Castle (pronounced Cull-ANE) has been heard playing his ghostly bagpipe in announcement and celebration of the marriage when one of our Kennedy Clan members ties the knot. The piper also likes to play on stormy windy nights when he can blend his haunting music in with the wind and waves as they pound the cliffs close to the castle. It is thought that he is the spirit of a poor resident piper who vanished while exploring the caves below the castle many years ago. The wind and waves may have trapped him in the caves and taken his life. He now morns his loss as he serenades the storms. It has also been reported that his ghostly figure has been seem from time to time on the castle grounds.
This composition is dedicated to the spirit of the piper who continues to honor our family through his music and with the hope that his soul may someday find eternal peace.
